This morning I considered the battle of keeping the crust on the bread for sandwiches for the kids. It drives me nuts when the kids insist on cutting the crusts off, but to save us from having a big fight, I usually cut it off, otherwise the kids will leave over an inch of 'crust', which drives me even more nuts!
As I was cutting the crust this morning, I realized that since my kids eat broccoli, spaghetti squash, and beet tops (and most other vegetables), I should take it a little more easy when it comes to sandwiches. I will no longer choose the 'crust battle'.
